ePhares.com Account
New customers must create an ePhares account to:
- make purchases
- request free samples
- save items in your shopping basket
- view order history
- speed up future purchases
- receive product updates (optional)
Click on ‘CREATE AN ACCOUNT‘ to do this.
Making Purchases
Sign in to your account. Choose the product(s) you wish to purchase by clicking on the relevant ‘ADD TO BASKET’ button(s).
When you’re ready to pay, click on ‘PROCEED TO CHECKOUT’. If you’d like to save your shopping basket for future reference, click on the ‘SAVE BASKET’ icon. This is particularly useful if the payment of your goods is handled by a different person or department. They can then simply sign in to your ePhares account and complete the payment process without needing to re-shop your basket. If you’re ready to proceed with your order, click on ‘CONTINUE’.
From this next screen (Confirm), you can modify any shipping/billing/broker info, input any promotional codes and view the shipping cost before confirming your order.
You then have a choice to pay by either credit card or bank transfer.
If you choose to pay by credit card, you will be taken to our payment provider’s secure server where your details will be processed safely. Paying by this method, your goods will be prepared for dispatch immediately. We do not store any credit card details on our website.
If you choose to pay by bank transfer (IBAN), an invoice will be emailed to your billing contact. If you are a first-time buyer with ePhares, your billing contact will receive a proforma invoice and your goods will be dispatched as soon as we have confirmation that payment has been received. If you have bought from us before, your goods will be prepared for dispatch immediately. Our invoice must be paid within 30 days from invoice date.
Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. When the goods have been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.
Payment
You can purchase from ePhares in either Euros or US Dollars.
We accept the following cards: MasterCard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron and Visa Commercial.
Shipping
We use FedEx as our courier for standard orders.
The shipping cost for each order is calculated according to package weight and volume. ePhares gets preferential rates from our couriers and these savings are passed on to the customer. The shipping cost for each shopping basket is calculated and quoted to you before payment confirmation.
We ship to most of countries in the world. Our estimated delivery times from the point of dispatch are as follows:
EU (inc. CH): 5-7 days
US: 7-10 days
REST OF THE WORLD: 10-14 days
Please note that items can sometimes be subject to delay at customs which can take an additional week to clear.
Please note that if you choose to have your order sent via a Broker, ePhares.com is no longer responsible for the customs clearing & delivery time of your package once the goods have been transferred to the Broker.
Import Duty and VAT for ePhares.com customers outside of Switzerland
Our goods are dispatched to you from our labs in Switzerland, so we do not charge any VAT on your orders. We ship your order DDU (‘delivered duties and taxes unpaid’). You may be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches your country.
Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If there are these additional charges, they must be paid so that your order can clear customs. Customs policies are different for each country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Please note that when ordering from ePhares.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
The customs forms for your ePhares packages will list the value and details of the contents of your order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws. Please be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
VAT for ePhares.com customers in Switzerland
For your ePhares.com orders, you will be charged VAT at the usual Swiss rate of 7.6%.
Order Enquiries
Please read the following information so we can help you as quickly and effectively as possible:
a) When will my credit/debit card be charged?
We will only charge your credit/debit card once your order has been dispatched.
b) Order tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing a FedEx Tracking Number. Input this number at http://www.fedex.com/Tracking to track the location of your package.
30 working days from the point of dispatch must have elapsed before an order is deemed ‘lost’. If your order has not arrived within this time please notify us by clicking here. Select ‘Order Enquiry’ from the drop-down menu in the subject field and in the message field quote your ‘Order Number’ (included in your order confirmation email).
c) The product I ordered is out of stock
If one of our products is out of stock, click on ‘KEEP ME POSTED’ and we will email you as soon as it is back in stock.
d) Payment not accepted
If your credit card payment is rejected your order will not be processed. We will inform you about this via email, so that you can place the order again.
e) I want to cancel an order
You can cancel your order while it is being processed and before it has been dispatched. Sign in to your account and check your order status; if it is ‘Open’ this means your order is still being processed and has not yet been dispatched. Click on the ‘Cancel’ button.

Requesting Samples
Sign in to your account. Click on the ‘SAMPLE REQUEST’ tab. You can request free samples of selected ePhares products from this page. Requests are limited to one sample of each product per company
